Vermont Islands Standard Facades and Finishes
Vermont Islands commercial bars, carts and islands are available in many different finishes, facades and configurations. Our Signature Series Islands are the standard for outdoor applications. Most Vermont Islands can be modified with alternate Custom Facades and Finishes.

Signature Series - Ipe (Ironwood)
Tongue & Groove - Vertical Ipe (Ironwood)
Signature Series Vermont Islands outdoor bars, outdoor grills and outdoor
food service islands and carts are made from 1" x 4" V-groove
vertical Tongue & Groove Ipe
(ironwood), finished with Penofin
Marine Oil (pictured left). If left untreated, Ipe will weather
and fade over time as shown (right). Topped with polished granite and
outfitted with stainless steel appliances, Ipe Signature Series Islands
are designed and built specifically to stand up to the outdoors in any
climate.
Horizontal Ipe (Ironwood)
Horizontal 1" x 4" eased-edge Ipe applied over a dark brown
(left) or white (right) HDO structural frame (Euro-Form HDO is a dimensionally
and structurally stable plywood superior to regular plywoods). Boards
are mounted to spacer blocks for a 3D effect. The bar 
set shown (below right) has horizontal 1" x 4" Ipe mounted
to white acrylic panels with back-lighting - the entire bars glows at
night for a stunning effect.
Custom Facade Options
Aluminum or Wood frames with Acrylic Panels
Islands made from anodized aluminum frames with acrylic insert panels
are a classy and attractive alternative to the standard Ipe Signature
Series Islands. They can be used outdoors as well as indoors for added
versatility. Choose from a wide variety of insert panel 
options including translucent colors, geometric designs and organic
inlays from 3-Form.
Most designs can be back-lit for night-time ambiance.
Stainless Steel
Vermont Islands can also be made from Stainless Steel instead of Ipe.
We bond type 304 Stainless Steel to 3/4" structural HDO plywood
cabinet boxes. Counter top options range from traditional granite to
solid surface materials and engineered stone.
Painted or Powdercoated
Hard-coat epoxy, powder-coated steel and PVC wainscoting are options
for when special colors are needed. Virtually any color scheme can be
matched and applied to all Vermont Islands models.
Bamboo
For a natural, tropical look Vermont Islands are available with natural
bamboo fascia. Real bamboo is applied to a structural plywood cabinet
box. Doors and trim pieces are made from Ipe. Consider a Tiki roof for
Bamboo Islands needing a canopy.
Stone, Tile and Combinations
Stone and tile facades and countertops can be combined with Ipe and structural plywood cabinets to match existing decor or create a unique look.
