Custom Outdoor Kitchens
Vermont Islands designs and manufactures custom pieces and sets in addition to our standard line of outdoor kitchen, bar, buffet, grill and service carts and islands.
Whether you need a slight modification of one of our standard catalog items or a completely different look for your outdoor kitchen, we can provide a customized solution for you.

Alternate configurations can involve modifying a catalog item by moving an appliance from the left side of a cart to the right side or changing the left to right order of appliances, drop-ins, options and accessories.
Most of our standard catalog items are available in different sizes (2 foot and 4 foot Host Podiums or 6 foot and 8 foot Bars for example).
However if you require special sizes not listed in the catalog, rest assured that we can make the piece you need in the size you need. Just let us know your requirements and we will design and build the piece(s) accordingly.
(Note: For shipping and set-up purposes we recomend individual pieces no larger than 10 feet)
Some of our modular pieces may be combined together at the factory into one piece. Combinations of grill and refrigeration units or self-serve buffets and counter tops are popular and useful, especially when making 'L' or 'U' shaped configurations.

Our primary outdoor material is Ipe, a very durable tropical hardwood (visit our FAQs page for more about Ipe). Alternate materials such as Stainless Steel or Starboard® Marine Polymers are available to customize your Vermont Islands. A wide variety of materials are also available for interior Vermont Islands including, but not limited to, Oak, Maple, Birch, Cherry, Mahogany, Stainless Steel, Starboard® Marine Polymers and High Density Plywoods with Hard-coat Epoxy finishes.

Contact a design professional help you to design an outdoor kitchen to your exact specifications.
Choose from our catalog of standard pieces or send us your sketches and cocktail napkin drawings to have a custom alfresco kitchen built especially for you.
You will receive a proposal from Vermont Islands that contains CAD drawings of your design and pricing.
Sign and return the proposal to place the order.
Production begins upon receipt of your 50% deposit.

We do not currently offer an electronic shopping cart, however Vermont Islands accepts all major credit cards.
