The bar that launched a thousand roofs, this bar was custom designed for the InterContinental Hotel in Kansas City with our friends at LDL Studio. Beyond having to perfectly blend into their beautiful rooftop, we also overcame the challenges of having no running water and needing to fully lock-down the bar at night. It would be hard to find a single project that had a greater impact on us as a company than this one. 

For this rooftop pool bar project, we utilized two standard materials with a stainless steel metal backing to achieve the unique look Le Parc Suites and their designer customer wanted. Starboard allows for easy and clean routing for a fun pattern to give the bar a little extra life to match the fun rooftop.

In the heart of Allentown, Pennsylvania residents stay well-hydrated at this beautiful 6 piece mobile bar building. For this project, we worked with esteemed lighting designer Jeff Nathan to illuminate the bar which was designed with the help of Cory Arker.

This project started out with a concept from an architect, through discussion we changed some materials for ease of manufacturing, mobility and to ensure the bar will hold up to the harsh New England weather. Simultaneously, we worked with the ownership and their operations team to design a bar that would keep up with their busy patio and make sure the health department was happy. In the end, all parties had say in what mattered most to them and allowed the other teams to get what they wanted. The results are a stunning bar

The ironic thing we learned over our years of working with the team at the Standard, is that none of their projects ever are, in fact, standard!  We used a beautiful, and now discontinued, LG HiMac for the facade, bar tops, doors and just about everywhere. Each piece was built to fit their elevators to get them to and from the roof. Once there, the bar blended seamlessly into their existing aesthetic and their million dollar views of mid-town NYC were unobstructed due to back bars that were intentionally kept low.. After years of service and some pretty hard parties, we came back to add a third bartender station and a waitress pickup station. Our clients often need bars larger than the spaces they have to move through (ahem, looking at you, elevator doors). To circumvent this issue, we make elevator bars in sections that fit in an elevator and then lock together to work and appear as one seamless piece. We can also make the back and top removable so your bar will lock seamlessly together and no one will know your bar is not a single piece.
